Body Shape and Playability
Inspired by Patrick James Eggle’s famous Saluda design, the Neptune body shape offers a 16-inch lower bout that delivers impressive acoustic power without the bulk of larger jumbos. The integrated cutaway improves fret accessibility and reduces size, making this guitar comfortable to play sitting or standing. Ideal for musicians seeking a commanding acoustic voice paired with effortless playability.
Tonewoods and Sound Profile
Indonesian mango wood features a lighter brown base colour that beautifully showcases its grain under translucent finishes like the Natural Gold. Known as a hybrid tonewood, mango combines tonal qualities of mahogany, koa, and trembesi, providing strong upper bass, focused midrange, and a gently rolled treble. The result is a warm, full-bodied tone with clarity and character.
Elegant Design and High-Quality Appointments
The FX Natural Gold stands out visually with a deep golden red finish, flamed maple binding, and striking ebony fittings that display unique grain patterns. Ebony is used for the fingerboard, bridge, and headplate, adding tonal precision and long-lasting durability. Every element is meticulously crafted for an instrument that is as beautiful to behold as it is to play.
