Main Features and Tone
Mango wood offers a distinctive tonal character that sits between the punchiness of rosewood and the mellow warmth of mahogany. Its sound is dark and moody, with frequency emphasis beginning slightly below mahogany and tapering earlier in the mid-range. This tonal profile, combined with reduced resonant overtones, makes the Blue Moon ideal for stage performance, providing excellent balance, control and feedback resistance.
Sustainably sourced from the Indonesian archipelago near our Java workshops, the solid figured Java Mango body is complemented by premium details designed for both aesthetics and performance.
