The Kickstart Scheme is a 6 month paid job with a local employer. It provides a fully-funded job opportunity for 18 – 24 year-olds to gain experience working in some of Britain’s most exciting companies. Assistant Service Admin - 25 hours per week

Job Summary

Testing of equipment
Assisting customers and helping with technical support
Maintaining the stock system
Performing administration duties
Liaising with suppliers, accounts and the warehouse

Skills & Qualifications

Excellent IT skills, ideally on Mac and P.C 
Operating knowledge of leading software programs such as Cubase, Pro-Tools, Ableton etc
High technical knowledge of audio equipment including audio interfaces, keyboard controllers, mixing desks, P.A systems, guitar effects, etc
Exceptional eye for detail and strong administration skills
Self-motivated with a natural ability dealing with customers
Great verbal and written communication skills
It is vital that the applicant can quickly learn a variety of technical topics in a short time
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in intense and time-constrained environments
The ability to explain complicated technical concepts in clear concise everyday language as well as get deeply technical

Degree or equivalent experience in Audio Technology, Electronics, Acoustics, Music and Sound recording or similar and 2+ years in music production
Experience in training people on new software and/or hardware
Previous experience working in a customer support role
Experience using Team Viewer, Zoom and other video conferencing software

Assistant Purchaser - 25 hours per week

Job Summary

Reporting directly to our Commercial Director your duties will include day to day liasioning with some of the worlds largest music brands. Your duties will include placing purchase orders based on product sell through and lead times, chasing ETA’s for ordered stock and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

Skills & Qualifications

Basic understanding of the sales and purchasing chain.
Proficiency in English and Maths
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
Basic administration skills
