Gretsch G6134T-140 LTD 140th Double Platinum Penguin Electric Guitar with G6278 Case (pre-owned)

Double Platinum. Pure Gretsch prestige.

The Gretsch G6134T-140 LTD Penguin is no ordinary take on a Gretsch classic. Created to celebrate the company’s 140th anniversary, this limited-edition combines the famous silhouette of one of Gretsch’s distinctive solid-body designs with an exclusive Double Platinum aesthetic that gives it a character all of its own.

The Penguin’s elegant curves and distinctive appointments carry decades of Gretsch identity, while the anniversary edition brings an extra layer of exclusivity to the package. Sonically, expect the sort of articulate, harmonically rich voice that makes Gretsch guitars so compelling, with plenty of clarity, definition and twang to explore. Add the expressive feel of the string-thru Bigsby vibrato and you have an instrument that invites subtle inflections, shimmering chords and a little extra movement in your playing.

This is a guitar with genuine collector appeal, but one that feels equally at home being played rather than simply admired. It comes complete with its Gretsch G6278 Premium Western hardshell case, providing a fitting home for such a distinctive instrument.

In excellent condition, it shows minimal signs of previous use and presents beautifully. A limited-edition anniversary Gretsch with serious visual presence, individual character and a place in the company’s remarkable history.
