Seventy years of Stratocaster history deserves a finish with this much personality. The 70th Anniversary Antigua Stratocaster brings Fender’s unmistakable styling together with the distinctive Antigua finish, creating a Strat that looks every bit as special as its anniversary badge suggests.
The classic alder body is paired with a comfortable maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, while three Fender single-coil pickups deliver the familiar combination of glassy highs, articulate mids and unmistakable Stratocaster snap. Five-way switching provides everything from crisp bridge sounds to the rounded warmth of the neck pickup, with the in-between positions adding those characteristic hollow, percussive tones.
A vintage-style synchronized tremolo and vintage-style tuners keep the specification rooted firmly in Fender tradition, while the 25.5" scale and 21-fret fingerboard offer the familiar Strat playing experience that has remained timeless.
This example is in excellent condition, with no fret wear and only minimal signs of use. There are gentle swirling and handling marks to the finish, but nothing that detracts from its overall presentation. A distinctive anniversary Strat with genuine vintage-inspired character and one of Fender’s most instantly recognisable finishes.
