Compact, comfortable and built with Yamaha’s knack for making a guitar that simply gets on with the job, the APX600 is a highly practical electro-acoustic with a character all of its own. Its slim APX body makes it particularly easy to handle, while the cutaway gives you comfortable access further up the neck.
The spruce top and rosewood fingerboard give it the familiar feel of a traditional acoustic, while Yamaha’s SYSTEM65 electronics and SRT piezo pickup make it equally at home plugged into an amplifier or PA.
This 2022 example is in good, used condition. There are the earliest signs of fret wear, while the finish has accumulated a noticeable amount of small marks, impressions and scratches from use and handling. There are no large or particularly unsightly dings or areas of damage, however, and it remains a perfectly presentable and very usable instrument.
A great everyday acoustic-electric from one of Yamaha’s most established ranges, with plenty of life and music still ahead of it.
