Few acoustic guitars have quite the visual presence of a Dove, and this Epiphone Dove Studio brings that classic Gibson-inspired character together with the practicality of modern electro-acoustic performance. Finished in a striking Violin Burst, it has the unmistakable Dove styling, complete with its distinctive pickguard artwork and traditional square-shoulder dreadnought body.
The solid spruce top gives this guitar a lively, articulate voice, with plenty of projection for strumming and enough definition to handle more delicate playing. The SlimTaper D neck shape makes it an easy guitar to settle into, while the Indian laurel fingerboard and pearloid parallelogram inlays add a touch of vintage-inspired class.
When it’s time to plug in, the Fishman Sonicore pickup system provides a straightforward, natural-sounding amplified setup, with simple volume and tone controls tucked neatly into the soundhole.
This example is in particularly clean condition, with no fret wear and only light signs of soft use. There are some gentle marks to the finish from handling and playing, but importantly, no dings or damages.
