Sharp lines, serious attitude and built with metal firmly in its DNA, the Jackson RR RX10D is the kind of guitar that makes its intentions clear before you’ve even plugged it in.
This Japanese-made Rhoads comes in a striking Dark Metallic Blue finish, combining the unmistakable angular body with a fast-playing maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Duncan Designed HB-103 humbuckers deliver plenty of punch and aggression, with the bridge pickup particularly well suited to tight, high-gain rhythm work and searing lead tones. Add the double-locking tremolo and you have a guitar ready for dive bombs, squeals and all manner of sonic mischief.
It has certainly been played and there is some cosmetic evidence of that. There is a large chip out of the tip of the upper wing, along with a few small dings, marks and impressions across the body. The frets show early signs of wear and there is light tarnish to the hardware. Overall, it remains in good used condition, with the wear reflecting a guitar that has been enjoyed rather than hidden away.
