With its extended 26.5" scale, striking Surreal Blue Burst finish and properly aggressive RGD body, this 2016 Ibanez RGDIX6MPB was built with heavier music firmly in mind. This Iron Label RGD combines a layered ash body topped with eye-catching poplar burl with a fast-playing 3-piece maple/bubinga Nitro Wizard RGD neck and birdseye maple fingerboard.
The 24 jumbo frets and extended scale make it particularly well suited to lower tunings, while the pair of passive DiMarzio Fusion Edge ceramic humbuckers deliver plenty of punch, definition and high-gain aggression without losing clarity. A single global volume control and 3-way toggle keep the layout simple and focused, while the Gibraltar Standard II fixed bridge and Gotoh locking tuners provide a rock-solid foundation for serious riffing.
This example is in great used condition. With no fret wear and only fair number of smaller dings and impressions, mostly across the back and around the edges, but there are no serious or unsightly damages.
