A seriously cool take on the classic Strat formula, this Squier Classic Vibe ‘70s HSS brings together the unmistakable looks of a vintage-era Strat with the added versatility of a humbucker at the bridge. The Walnut finish gives it a distinctively darker look, too.
The HSS pickup configuration makes this a particularly versatile Strat, covering everything from familiar glassy single-coil tones through to a thicker, more powerful bridge sound. The comfortable ‘C’ shaped maple neck and 9.5" radius give it the familiar feel you’d expect, while the vintage-style six-screw tremolo keeps the traditional Strat character intact.
Cosmetically, it’s in great used condition. There are slight surface marks and some gentle swirling from use, but no dings or significant damage. The hardware shows only minimal tarnishing, and the frets have just the earliest signs of wear, with plenty of life remaining.
The only thing to note is that the tremolo arm is not included, making this a particularly clean example otherwise of one of Squier’s more distinctive Classic Vibe Stratocasters.
