This American Special HSS brings time honoured formula with a little extra muscle and a distinctly no-nonsense look!
Built for players who wanted classic Fender character with a more contemporary, performance-focused edge. The HSS pickup configuration gives the familiar Stratocaster sparkle and snap while adding the extra weight and power of a bridge humbucker, making this a particularly versatile choice for everything from blues and rock to higher-gain territory.
Finished in Black and paired with a Maple fingerboard, it has the sort of timeless appearance that never needs dressing up. This example is in great condition, with only the earliest signs of fret wear. There are a few gentle marks and impressions here and there from use, but no notable dings or damages.
