Description
No frills, no fuss, just pure Telecaster.
This 2004 Fender American Standard Telecaster is a reminder of exactly why this design has remained a working musician’s favourite for generations. Finished in classic black with a contrasting maple fingerboard, it has that time honoured combination of understated style, purposeful construction and Tele twang we all love.
Made in the USA, the American Standard was designed to deliver the familiar Telecaster experience with the refinements needed for modern playing. Expect the trademark combination of crisp, cutting articulation and punchy midrange, with plenty of clarity for clean passages and enough bite to give driven tones real authority. The bridge pickup delivers that familiar Tele twang, while the neck position offers a warmer, rounder alternative. Together, they provide a versatile palette that works just as well in country and blues as it does in rock, indie and beyond.
This example is in good used condition, with minor fret wear and a few marks and scuffs from fair use, consistent with an instrument that has seen some playing time.
A proper American-made Telecaster with timeless looks, dependable versatility and plenty of life left to give.
