Famously versatile and instantly recognisable, this 1997 left-handed Fender American Standard Stratocaster in Candy Apple Red takes clear inspiration from Pink Floyd legend, David Gilmour - with notable similarities, not the least a set of EMG pickups; offering sparkling cleans, singing mids and biting overdrive. Its alder body and maple neck produce the bright, snappy response and balanced resonance that Stratocasters are known for.

This example is in great played condition, showing minor fret wear. Most noticeable in the lower positions but remaining fully comfortable and playable. Vintage style tuners and a Graphtech nut have been installed. The lower horn previously held a strap button and the body shows light marks and impressions from normal use, but there are no serious dings or damage. These subtle signs of wear reflect a guitar that has been played and enjoyed, adding character without affecting its exceptional tone.
