Fender 1979 Hard Tail Stratocaster Electric Guitar, Maple, Transparent Wine Red with Hard Case (pre-owned)

This Fender Stratocaster dates back to 1979 and comes in a not so common transparent, Wine Red finish. The hardtail bridge adds some serious snap, punch and power to the tone, leaning a bit more toward a Tele, loosing some of the airy character of the typical Stratocaster.

Great used condition for age. Minor fret wear in the lower positions. Obvious wear and tear consistent with age. Finish worn through on the back. Buckle rash. Minimal tarnish to the chrome hardware, but screws are mostly discoloured and rusty. A number of small chips and dings. Pickups and pots appear original.
