Description
Acoustic soul. Electric attitude.
Forget everything you think you know about a Telecaster. Fender took one of its most recognisable designs and gave it a completely different purpose with the Acoustasonic, creating an instrument that bridges the gap between acoustic and electric in a thoroughly unconventional way. This 2021 example offers a remarkably broad palette of sounds, making it an interesting proposition for players who like to keep their options open.
Combining an acoustic-style body with Fender’s innovative acoustic and electric voicings, the Acoustasonic moves comfortably between natural acoustic tones, more processed textures and familiar electric-inspired sounds. Whether you’re looking for something versatile for live performance, recording or songwriting, it offers plenty of scope to experiment.
This example shows signs of having been enjoyed, with early signs of fret wear, a larger ding on the front forearm cutaway and a fair few additional marks and impressions across the body. These are honest signs of use rather than a pristine display piece, and the condition is best described as played.
A distinctive and highly versatile Fender for anyone looking to explore a different side of the Telecaster.
