Body Shape Advantages
The Venus body shape is globally recognised for its ideal balance between comfort and sound projection. Featuring a 15-inch lower bout and a slightly shallower body depth, it offers effortless playability during long sessions while producing excellent clarity, projection, and tonal depth. This makes it suitable for a wide variety of playing styles, from delicate fingerpicking to strong strumming.
Tonewoods & Sound Profile
Crafted entirely from solid Indonesian mahogany, the Nexus Venus delivers a warm, focused tone with a robust midrange presence. The special Thru Black finish enhances the wood’s natural figuring, combining deep dark hues with subtle golden amber undertones. This creates a smooth and articulate sound that remains controlled even when played aggressively, making it a dependable and expressive guitar.
Design & Craftsmanship
The 2026 update introduces elegant black and white ABS binding along with a beautifully figured ebony pickguard, elevating the guitar’s visual appeal. Ebony is prominently used for the fingerboard, bridge, and headplate, enhancing durability and tonal focus while contributing to a luxurious feel. The result is a guitar that is visually restrained yet reveals intricate depth upon closer inspection.
Electronics
Equipped with a Fishman Presys 2 preamp and an undersaddle piezo pickup, the electronics are stage-ready and intuitive. Features include a clear built-in tuner, two-band EQ, phase switch for feedback control, and master volume adjustment. The output jack and battery compartment are discreetly integrated into the end pin, preserving the guitar’s traditional look.

This model comes with a padded gigbag designed with convenient carry handles, backpack straps, and a front accessory pocket. For touring musicians seeking extra protection, a hardcase upgrade option is available.
