Made in the USA, the Sierra offers Deering’s renowned craftsmanship, featuring a mahogany neck and resonator paired with a quality tone ring for rich, punchy tone and clear projection that cuts through any mix.

This one’s been played, but in all the right ways. There’s some fret wear, mostly in the lower positions, along with slight tarnishing to the chrome hardware. You’ll find a few minor marks on the satin-finished resonator and a bit of finish damage along the edge of the neck near the second fret on the fingerboard side.

A D-tuner on the 4th string adds versatility for bluegrass and beyond, making this banjo ready for anything from Scruggs to experimental tuning runs.

Overall, it’s in solid played condition. Well used but not abused. If you’re after that classic Deering tone in a player-grade instrument that’s ready for the stage, studio or jam circle, this Sierra delivers.
