Description
The Katana-50 EX Gen 3 introduces the latest evolution of BOSS Tube Logic technology, delivering improved dynamics, responsiveness and playing feel. Alongside refined versions of the Clean, Crunch, Lead, Brown and Acoustic voices, the new Pushed amp character provides the rich, touch-sensitive breakup of a driven valve amplifier, making it ideal for expressive blues, rock and edge-of-breakup tones.
Five independent effects sections provide access to legendary BOSS modulation, delay, reverb and drive effects, with three variations available in each category. Through the updated BOSS Tone Studio software, you can access more than 60 effects, rearrange signal chains, customise EQ settings and download professionally created presets from BOSS Tone Exchange.
The integrated Power Control allows you to enjoy full amplifier character and response at virtually any volume, making the Katana-50 EX equally suited to bedroom practice, rehearsals and live gigs.
Designed with performers in mind, the EX model adds an upgraded custom speaker for improved projection, Line Out connectivity for direct recording or PA systems, Stereo Expand support and compatibility with the GA-FC and GA-FC EX foot controllers for comprehensive live control.

Warranty Information
Boss Warranty Information: 5 Years for pedals. 2 years for all other Boss products from 1st May 2021
1st May 2021. The following changes will bring consistency to all sales territories as currently there are local variances.
New Warranty Policy:
• Minimum “Standard” manufacturer’s warranty will now be 2-years (increase from 1-year standard, down from 3-years extended)
• Additional years will be dependent on a product category:
◦ 5-years Boss Compacts
◦ 10-years for HP/LX/GP/DP/KF Pianos
◦ Lifetime Cable Warranty for specific cables (details will be on the product box)
• The customer no longer needs to register the product, however, a new Roland Account system/campaign will launch later this month
• The new customer accounts will very clearly show what Roland/Boss products the customer owns but also pull through any relevant information or services available to the customer in support of their product(s)
