A Powerful Ideas Machine

At the heart of KeyStep 37 mk2 is a flexible polyphonic step sequencer and advanced arpeggiator. Build patterns quickly, chain them together, and transform them in real time. Creative tools such as Mutate, Spice, and Dice introduce evolving variations, helping ideas develop naturally without interrupting your flow.

You can convert arpeggios into sequences, adjust octave ranges, note lengths, and silences, overdub new notes, and even record pitch bend and modulation movements. Every performance becomes a living, evolving sequence.

Hands On Control Without Menu Diving

Four dedicated rotary encoders give immediate access to key parameters for the sequencer, arpeggiator, and generative tools. These encoders are mode aware and can also be freely assigned to MIDI CC or CV destinations, providing fast and intuitive control with minimal setup.

Extensive Hardware and Software Connectivity

KeyStep 37 mk2 is designed to connect with almost any setup. In addition to USB C MIDI and full size MIDI DIN connections, it features comprehensive CV and Gate outputs for controlling modular and analogue hardware. The four CV outputs include Pitch, Gate, Mod 1, and Mod 2, all configurable for velocity, aftertouch, modulation, and more.
