The Applause brand was launched by Ovation back in the 1970s.
The aim was and is to make the advantages of roundback guitars available in a particularly affordable class without having to do without the special features of their famous big sisters.
The current models of the Applause by Ovation line feature traditional Ovation characteristics in a basic design, such as the classic Lyrachord roundback body, a slim neck for comfortable playability, great feel, appealing finishes and a professional pickup/preamp system.
As part of the technical equipment, the AP3TP preamp with 3-band EQ and integrated tuner delivers a convincingly good electro-acoustic sound and thus rounds off the overall package of these guitars excellently.
