Chambered Body with Enhanced Resonance
The RSS02T uses Yamaha’s advanced chambered body design to reduce weight and improve acoustic projection. Internal routing and carbon reinforcement optimise vibration transfer, allowing the guitar to breathe and respond with rich harmonics and lively dynamics. This acoustic-inspired construction ensures a vibrant playing experience with every note.
Expanded Tonal Options: Five-Way Switching
Inspired by Yamaha’s flagship models, the 5-way pickup configuration offers versatile tone shaping. Positions 2 and 4 provide a subtle in-phase shift that adds shimmer and clarity, ideal for sparkling cleans, funky rhythms and expressive playing styles. This expanded tonal palette makes the RSS02T suitable for a wide range of musical genres.
Focus Switch: Passive Boost for Power and Depth
The Focus Switch, activated via the push-pull tone control, emulates the sound of overwound pickups by delivering a powerful passive boost. This enhances midrange presence, tightens the low end and smooths high frequencies, providing:
- Darker, punchier treble response
- Enhanced midrange definition
- Fuller, commanding bass frequencies
Perfect for rock drives, rich lead tones and vintage grit, the Focus Switch adds depth and character to your sound instantly.
The Yamaha Revstar RSS02T is a blend of boutique styling, rich P90 growl, acoustic-inspired resonance and modern electronics. Fully road-ready and crafted to inspire, it is a premium choice for musicians seeking a unique voice and undeniable stage appeal.
