There’s something wonderfully understated about this S2 Singlecut Standard. With its classic silhouette, all mahogany construction and Tobacco Sunburst finish, this is a USA made PRS that puts substance firmly ahead of unnecessary flash.
The 25" scale and Pattern Regular mahogany neck give it a familiar, comfortable feel, while the rosewood fingerboard and 22-fret layout provide plenty of room to explore. PRS’s S2 humbuckers deliver a broad, articulate voice with plenty of warmth and punch; plus the push/pull tone controls add useful coil-splitting versatility. Add the PRS stoptail and locking tuners and you have a beautifully straightforward setup that sports rock solid tuning stability and superior sustain. This one feels equally at home with a shimmering clean, fat crunch which works with almost any genre.
