Description
Played, proven and unmistakably Lowden.
Showing a fair level of vintage patina, this F-35 has plenty of character and an incredible played in voice. Built during the original Premier period, it comes from the early generation of guitars that would become Lowden’s celebrated 35 Series, combining Lowden’s distinctive F body with rich rosewood construction and the refined craftsmanship that makes these instruments so sought after.
This one has clearly been played and enjoyed. There’s some early fret wear in the lower positions, along with a few pot marks and impressions across the top. There are also some general scuffs and scratches from years of use, but nothing that amounts to any large or unsightly damage. It wears its history honestly without looking tired, making this a very good played example of a vintage Lowden.
The F body offers the balance, projection and tonal depth these guitars are known for, while the rosewood construction brings plenty of richness and complexity to the voice. A particularly appealing example for anyone who wants the character of an older Lowden rather than the untouched appearance of a newer instrument.
