Three decades on, it’s aged beautifully. The frets show only light wear in the lower positions and the body bears just a few subtle impressions and swirl marks from use, nothing distracting or unsightly. The finish has developed a soft sheen, giving it that gently played in character that only time can create. A Passive, under bridge transducer pickup has been fitted, which provides a no-nonsense approach to amplification and recording.
