Description
Loud looks and shred sounds for southpaws.
Few guitars say “Ibanez” quite as loudly as this RG550. It delivers the full neon-fuelled Superstrat experience in unmistakable Desert Yellow. Built around the formula that made the RG one of the defining performance guitars of its generation, it combines a fast-playing neck, serious hardware and a finish that is impossible to ignore.
The RG550 is all about speed and power with precision; the classic RG body shape giving easy access across the fingerboard and the Wizard-style neck putting the emphasis firmly on effortless playing. The combination of humbuckers with a single-coil in the middle position gives plenty of tonal ground to cover, from articulate cleans to the kind of high-gain sounds this guitar was born for. Add the Edge tremolo and you have a machine built for everything from subtle vibrato to full-on dive bombs.
This left-handed 2025 example is in excellent condition, showing only minimal signs of use. It presents exceptionally well and is ready for its next player without needing anything done to it.
A proper Japanese made RG in a killer colour, its not for the faint of heart.
