The Evans Genera HD Dry snare head is constructed from 2 plies of film. A thinner outer ply and a thicker inner ply, in combination with a ultra-thin overtone ring, eliminates excessive overtones and controls sustain. This head is ideal for an ultra-dry, controlled sound that is perfect for recording and more mellow music. Further control is produced with precision-drilled vents around the perimeter of the head.
