Tama Superstar Classic 7pc Shell Pack, Gloss Garnet Lacebark Pine

The TAMA Superstar Classic drum kit honours over forty years of exceptional design, craftsmanship, and rich, articulate tone. Inspired by the iconic Superstar kits of the 1970s, this kit perfectly blends vintage aesthetics with modern engineering, offering outstanding resonance and projection at a highly competitive price.

Crafted from 100% maple shells enhanced with Lacebark Pine outer plies, the thinner shell construction provides superior musicality and sustain. The striking Gloss Lacebark Pine finish reveals a complex, natural wood grain, ensuring your kit looks as impressive as it sounds.

Superior Shell Construction

This kit features maple shells engineered for warmth, clarity and balanced tone across the entire set:

• Toms, floor toms, and snare drum: 4-ply maple with 2-ply Lacebark Pine outer veneers (5 mm thickness)
• Bass drum: 6-ply maple with 2-ply Lacebark Pine outer veneers (7 mm thickness)

The lighter shell thickness allows for freer resonance and richer sustain, delivering a dynamic response that suits a wide range of musical styles.

Power Craft II Drumheads

TAMA Power Craft II drumheads come pre-fitted on all drums, providing excellent tone straight out of the box. The bass drum head includes integrated ring mufflers to reduce overtones, eliminating the need for additional internal dampening and producing a clean, focused sound.

Innovative Star Mount System

The unique Star Mount system supports toms at four points on the batter side hoop to maximise sustain and shell vibration. Adjustable bracket eye bolts allow you to position toms closely without contact, perfect for tight setups while maintaining full resonance.

Robust, High-Quality Hardware

Low mass lugs reduce shell interference for a more natural sound, while the bass drum’s rubber-lined claw hooks protect the wooden hoops and hold stable tuning during lengthy sessions. The L Rod and Omnisphere tom holders deliver excellent stability and easy positioning without penetrating the shell, further boosting resonance.
