The Revv G4 Distortion is a high-gain pedal designed to deliver the aggressive, powerful tone of Revv’s Generator 120 Red Channel in a compact format. It produces a tight, modern distortion with strong note definition, a controlled low end and a smooth but powerful midrange that keeps riffs clear even under heavy gain.
The 3-position Aggression switch is a key feature, offering three distinct gain structures that range from tight and punchy to full, saturated high-gain drive. Combined with a responsive 3-band EQ, it allows precise shaping without losing the core character of the pedal’s voice. Gain and Level controls are intuitive, making it easy to dial in anything from articulate rhythm tones to sustaining lead sounds.
It works equally well as a front-end distortion into a clean amp or as a preamp-style drive into a power section or IR platform. The response stays consistent at different volumes, with a fast attack and controlled compression that suits modern rock and metal styles.
