Description
Progressive power, precision control.
Precision, power and a serious appetite for gain! This Sterling JP100D is built around the kind of focused, articulate performance that John Petrucci has made his trademark.
This 2019 example comes in a sleek Silver Grey finish and packs a formidable DiMarzio pickup combination into a fast, comfortable-playing package. The JP100D’s double-cutaway body and carved contours give it a distinctly performance-focused feel, while the vibrato system is ready for everything from subtle vibrato to more dramatic whammy-bar theatrics.
The wide-ranging pickup configuration gives you plenty of tonal ground to cover, from articulate cleans and punchy rhythm sounds to the tight, aggressive high-gain tones that make this model such a natural fit for progressive metal.
The neck has the speed and precision you’d expect from a Petrucci design, making this a guitar that feels equally at home with intricate lead work and heavier rhythm playing.
Presented in great, used condition. There is some early stages of fret wear, a few barely noticeable impressions to the back of the neck consistent with playing while wearing rings and minor tarnish to the hardware. There are also slight handling marks to the body, with no dings or damages.
A serious shred machine with unmistakable Petrucci DNA.
