Dual Channels
The DBF50 features two channels: a clean FET channel and a fully loaded Drive channel with independent Drive & Volume controls, allowing you to dial in just the right amount of tube-style overdrive.
Mix & Preshape
The Mix function lets you combine the clear, precise bass tone of the FET channel with the warmth and grit of the Drive channel – the best of both worlds in one setting.
Engage the Preshape switch for an instant EQ curve that scoops the mids, boosts the bottom end, and makes the top sparkle – perfect for slap bass or punchy rock lines.
3-Band EQ & Tilt
Dial in your sound with the powerful 3-band EQ, offering control over bass, mids, and treble. The Tilt EQ adds further flexibility:
- Turn clockwise to boost mids/highs while reducing lows – great for cutting through live mixes.
- Turn anticlockwise to emphasise lows while softening mids/highs – ideal for rounder, deeper tones.
Aux In & Headphones
Practise silently or jam along to your favourite tracks with:
- AUX input (3.5mm) – connect a phone, MP3 player, or other device.
- Headphone output (3.5mm) – silent practice and private monitoring.
Master Volume & Connectivity
The Master Volume control adjusts final output without changing the tone you’ve set. The DBF50 also offers extensive connectivity:
