the Gibson Custom Shop Joe Bonamassa “Skinnerburst” ‘59 Les Paul Standard, number 107 of just 150 ever made. This limited-edition model is a painstaking recreation of Joe Bonamassa’s legendary 1959 Les Paul, affectionately known as “Skinnerburst.” Crafted to Joe’s exact specifications, it captures every detail of his original burst from the beautifully aged finish to the vintage correct electronics and hardware.

Built by the Gibson Custom Shop to the highest standards, this guitar features a period accurate 1959 neck profile, premium tonewoods, hide glue construction and custom wound pickups modeled after Joe’s original PAFs. The tone is every bit as rich, dynamic and nuanced as you’d expect from a top tier Custom Shop Les Paul.

This particular example has been extremely well cared for. It shows no fret wear and has seen only light playtime. It comes complete with the original Certificate of Authenticity as well as a Skinnerburst picture book that was included with the original purchase — a collector’s touch that adds to its provenance and appeal.
