Some guitars earn their personality the hard way and this Fender Japan Telecaster wears its story proudly. Finished in classic Sherwood Green Metallic with a rosewood fingerboard and traditional 3 saddle bridge, it has all the timeless appeal you’d expect; just with a little more grit and attitude baked in.

This one sits firmly in used condition. There’s early fret wear starting to show, along with a generous spread of dings, marks and general signs of use across the body. Nothing structural, nothing serious; just the kind of wear that comes from a few gigs, this one’s been played rather than parked. The controls have been thoughtfully swapped with changed knobs and a replacement control plate featuring a slanted switch, giving it a slightly more player focused feel. A Seymour Duncan little ‘59 humbucker has been installed in the bridge position.

Plugged in, it delivers exactly what a good Tele should: snap, bite and clarity with that unmistakable Japanese Fender build quality underneath it all. The added humbucker in the bridge adds some serious rock n roll muscle, giving this otherwise traditional Tele an added edge for harder styles when thicker, rockier tones are called for.
