Description
In the early days of Fender the Tele was know as the “Broadcaster”. At the time Gretsch had a drum kit out with the same name, this forced Fender to come up with something new. Nocaster guitars refer to specific Teles from the short period between the Broadcaster and the Telecaster name. The guitar is often seen in its traditional 1951 outfit of Butterscotch Blonde finish with a single ply black pickguard, known as the ‘Blackguard’ look.
