The FKVBK shares the same acclaimed tonal qualities and construction as the natural-finish Naked Venus, but with a rich black dye applied carefully to its solid Engelmann Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides. Unlike paint, this stain highlights the natural grain of the wood, producing a unique “denim” effect where patches of dark green hues blend with black for a striking, organic finish.
Comfort and Sound Balance
With its 15" lower bout and shallower body depth, the Venus shape strikes the perfect balance between comfort and rich acoustic power. It is designed for extended playing sessions without fatigue, while maintaining a lively, expressive sound.
Premium Tonewoods and Finish
The FKVBK uses all solid woods, featuring Englemann Spruce on top for clarity and snap, complemented by Indonesian Mahogany back and sides for warmth. The satin black stain finish enhances the natural responsiveness of the wood, ensuring a lively, evolving tone that matures beautifully with every play.
Advanced Electronics
Equipped with the high-quality Fishman Presys 1 system, this guitar makes amplification simple and reliable. The preamp includes a convenient tuner, tone-shaping EQ contour, phase control to reduce feedback, and volume control—all easily accessible on the guitar body.
