The INSPIRE features a handmade, dual 1” externally polarised capsule with a 6-micron gold-sputtered Mylar diaphragm and precision-engineered brass backplates. Developed through blind listening tests with top producers, engineers, and artists, the capsule delivers exceptional tonal accuracy and musicality.

The INSPIRE’s high-quality PCB design — using four separate circuit boards — ensures a flat frequency response, low crosstalk, and exceptional headroom exceeding 140 dBA. It achieves professional-level clarity and warmth, powered entirely by standard 48 V phantom power.

Transformer or Electronic Output

INSPIRE allows you to switch between two distinct output stages:

• Transformer Output – adds richness and smooth harmonic depth, with a slightly slower transient response for vocals, guitars, and brass.
• Electronic Output – delivers ultra-fast transient response, extended frequency detail, and pristine clarity, ideal for drums and acoustic instruments.

This patented feature allows you to capture the perfect tone at the source without the need for external preamp coloration.

Flexible Design and Usability

The LED backlit controls make setup and operation simple in dark studio environments, with dimmable and lockable settings. The multi-pattern wheel includes stabilisation indication via an LED that flashes until the correct voltage is reached — ensuring precise polar pattern switching on the fly.

The microphone’s front/back switchable orientation enables effortless adjustment for self-recording or engineering sessions, maintaining identical sonic characteristics regardless of setup position.

Shockmount & Pop Filter

The ORBIT shockmount offers industry-leading isolation and adjustability. Made from long glass-reinforced nylon, it is lightweight, durable, and easy to position, featuring a half-open front design for quick access to controls. Its patented 190° adjustable clamp allows side, front, or back mounting, ensuring full flexibility for any recording scenario.

The included SENTRY magnetic pop filter uses a stainless steel hexagonal mesh for optimal airflow and plosive reduction, magnetically attaching to the shockmount for effortless use. Its design ensures it stays perfectly in place without affecting the microphone’s electronics.
