Adam T7V Active Studio Monitors

The ADAM T7V is a two-way studio monitor designed for vertical use in a nearfield application.The T7V features a 7 inch woofer that provides bass extension down to 39 Hz, while the U-ART tweeter’s diaphragm provides pristine and extended high-frequency response up to 25 kHz - virtually unheard of in monitors in this price range. The U-ART tweeter is fitted to a precision waveguide with the same dispersion-control attributes as the High Frequency Propagation (HPS) waveguide used in ADAM Audio’s flagship S Series studio monitors. The waveguide’s highly uniform dispersion of high frequencies provides an incredibly wide sweet spot that frees you from being glued to a rigid mix position while working.

On the rear side of the T7V’s bevelled cabinet, a rear-firing bass reflex port joins a sturdy metal backplate that’s home to the analogue input connections. The U-ART tweeter is powered by a 20 W Class-D amp, while a 50 W Class-D amp serves the woofer. These new powerhouses yield an impressive maximum of 110 dB SPL per pair.

The wide frequency response, high dynamic range, excellent transient response, wide sweet spot and small footprints make the T7V perfectly suited for use in small control rooms for music production, video post-production and broadcast production - a great fit for the modest budgets that many facilities need to work with. The ADAM Sub8 subwoofer is the perfect match to complement the T7V to extend the capabilities of monitoring in the bottom end.

Newly Developed URT Tweeter with HPS Waveguide
Many of the technical innovations implemented in ADAM’s flagship S Series range have been leveraged for use in the T Series line. The design for the T Series' new U-ART 1.9 inch tweeter is based on that used in ADAM Audio’s X-ART and S-ART tweeters employed respectively in the company’s iconic AX Series and S Series powered monitors. The U-ART tweeter is mated to a precision waveguide with the same dispersion-control attributes as the High Frequency Propagation (HPS) waveguide used in ADAM Audio’s flagship S Series monitors.

New Class D Amplifiers and DSP Powered Room EQs
The T7V T Series monitor also features new Class D amplifiers [20 W for the tweeter and 50 W for the woofer], universal power supplies, and built-in DSP driver crossovers that are derived from technological advances achieved in the design and production of the S Series line. On the rear panels of the T7V, an XLR connector and RCA jack respectively accept +4 dBu balanced and unbalanced -10 dBV inputs. An associated 2-way switch selects which connector receives an input signal. The T7V can automatically accept AC voltages ranging from 100 to 240 V, at 50 to 60 Hz. Thus, the T7V can be connected to professional and prosumer recording systems, and to both balanced and unbalanced I/O boxes for DAWs - virtually anywhere in the developed world with plug and play ease.

Two 3-way switches boost or cut respective low and high frequencies ±2 dB and also provide a ‘flat’ setting. These EQ switches let you tailor the frequency responses to fine-tune their performance when mounting them on shelves, a table top, or a console bridge, and at various distances from nearby walls.

Universal Acoustics Vibro-Pads Lite

Made from specially formulated, high load bearing foam, which makes them harder and denser than competing products. Foam can feel hard when it is actually stiff. UA Vibro-Pads Lite are less stiff and therefore less susceptible to fatigue when carrying heavy loads. This makes them the best product on the market for effective, long-term isolation of all types of studio monitors.

Each set includes 4 pads with individual levelling adjuster providing a 5° or 10° slope to angle the speaker up, down or flat for optimum listening position.

Each base pad includes it’s own pre-cut levelling wedge adjuster which in standard position will provide a level surface. Alternatively the levelling wedge adjuster can be removed to provide either a 5o or 10o slope angled up or down according to which way round the base pad is resting.

Whichever position Vibro-Pads Lite are utilised we guarantee that your monitors will provide a noticeable sonic improvement and your recordings will sound more accurate and defined once the vibration and resonance has been removed, and because your Studio Monitors are the most critical components to evaluate your recordings their full performance can only be truly revealed once vibration has been removed and total isolation has been achieved.

Manufactured in dark charcoal colour from a specially selected 65Kgs/3m density High Load Bearing (HLB) Hard foam, Vibro-Pads Lite will perform over a long life demonstrating true resilience to compression and will not fatigue during use resulting in years of improved listening quality within your studio or private audio environment.
