The TODJ-8AM is carved from a single piece of environmentally-friendly plantation-grown Mahogany and gives a sound that is full of character. The TODJ-8AM djembe is lathe turned, giving it a uniform thickness and its bowl interior features lathe grooves and rough-surfaced carvings to eliminate overtones. The Toca TODJ-8AM is lightweight and extremely durable.
