Do Absolute Music deliver to my country?

We currently ship to the European Union along with a selection of other countries outside of the EU.
To find out if we ship to your country, simply add an item to your basket. If your country is in the "deliver to" drop down list, we can ship to you!

If your country is not on the list, it is most likely that it is not economical for us to ship to you. However, if you are interested in getting a quote for international shipping to your country, please contact our sales team by telephone on +44 (0)1202 597180, or by using our contact form

International Delivery Rates

How much is delivery to my country?

Delivery charges vary from country to country. The easiest way to find out the delivery charge for an item on our website is to add that item to your shopping basket and change the "deliver to" dropdown to your country. This will give you a delivery "quote" (please see our exceptions on this).

Please note: if you do not have to pay UK Sales Tax, this will be removed at the same time.

European Shipping Quote

We have recently lowered our international delivery charges for many countries, so it is now cheaper than ever to buy from Absolute Music internationally. We are currently offering free shipping on orders over £250 (please see our exceptions to this)

How long does international delivery take?

We use a freight service from Fedex or DPD. Typically items take between 3 and 5 working days to arrive, but don't be alarmed if your order takes a little longer!

Please note: All orders must be signed for, so please ensure that someone is in to receive your order on the day that it is due.

Import Taxes

Please note that if you live outside the EU you will probably have to pay a local 'import tax' to the courier when your items are delivered.
Please ensure that you find out what your local import taxes are going to be before you order. We cannot refund an order because of these customs charges.

International Pricing, Payment and Availability

Prices & Sales Tax

We have to advertise all our prices in GBP / £, and we have to show the price including VAT (20% sales tax). If you live inside the European Union (EU), this is the price you will pay.
We do provide a currency convertor on the product pages for several popular currencies (Euro, US Dollar, Swedish Kronor, Norwegian Kroner etc), although this is updated daily, it is just a helpful utility to give a guide of the price in your local currency. All transactionsa are in GBP.
However, if we ship your order to a country outside of the European Union you don’t have to pay VAT, which means the price of the order will come down by 20%. For example: an order that costs £200 to an EU customer, will cost a customer outside the EU £166.66. Sales tax is deducted automatically when you update your delivery country in the checkout.


Our preferred method of payment for international orders is Paypal.

The £GBP price that we’ll charge you will automatically be converted to your local currency by Paypal. The exchange rate will be Paypals's exchange rate for that day.

If you’re not sure what exchange rate you’ll get when you make the purchase then you can use an online currency converter to get an estimate. Please note that your bank may have a slightly different rate, or add their own charges when they convert from GBP to your currency.

What if the item is out of stock?

If the item you order is out of stock you will still need to pay for the item when you order. We will ship your goods to you as soon as they arrive. If at any point you get bored of waiting, we will cancel the order and refund the total amount, no problem!

Product Warranty & Returning Items

Please don't forget that everything that we sell that requires mains power will be made to work at 220-240v and will ship with a 3 pin UK style plug. Please double check that your country uses 220-240v mains (the USA does NOT), and that you are able to source or change the mains lead to a suitable one for your country.

International Warranty & Returns Policy

In the unlikely event that an item is damaged in transit, or arrives faulty, we are happy to help correct things. Our product experts will guide you though the possible solutions and try and help you to troubleshoot issues over the phone/e-mail without you needing to return the item.

If an item does need to be returned to us for any reason, then you will be responsible for paying all the shipping fees. However, international returns are rare and we will do everything we can to avoid you having to ship the item back to us.

Got a good exchange rate for your currency? Take advantage of that and get your music gear from us in the UK! With exchange rates moving all the time, you could get a great bargain!
Please note, we will charge you in GBP, and Paypal will do the conversion, so please check with Paypal for their current exchange rates.

Delivery Exceptions

Please note: We have some exceptions to our international delivery pricing policy which includes, but is not limited to:

  • Guitars - as these are limited items, they incur a £25 shipping surcharge for additional insurance and pre-despatch check.
  • Large oversize and heavy items - due to the size of some items we may need to ship them on a freight service - if this is the case we will contact you with the additional costs.
  • Large Quantities - Should you purchase a large quantity of any item - this may also incur additional costs.
