The Yamaha MG12 delivers Yamaha quality in a robust body designed to be equally at home on the road or in your studio. This desk utilises an internal universal power supply making it ideal for touring. The MG12 features 12 inputs: 4 MIC/LINE channels with phantom power, 26 dB Pad and 80Hz HPF filters. These channels also feature gain controls, 3-band EQ AUX sends, pan and level controls. The mic preamps are the same studio grade class A discrete 'D-PRE' units used in their high end professional desks ensuring excellent sound quality.
Channels 5/6 and 7/8 have XLR mic inputs with phantom power and 1/4 inch jack sockets for mono or stereo inputs but lack the 1-knob compressor and pad buttons of channels 1-4.
Channels 9/10 and 11/12 have 1/4 inch jack and RCA phono inputs, 2-band EQ with AUX sends and pan controls, ideal for stereo instruments such as synths or line level devices such as CD players etc.
Channels 1 to 4 are equipped with a newly upgraded version of Yamaha's 1-knob compressor allowing optimised compression to a wide variety of input sources with the touch of a single control.
All channels have send controls for the 2 Aux sends of which AUX 1 can set pre or post per channel. Each channel can be sent to the main ST output or the GROUP 1-2 buss or both and there's an ON button to switch each channel. A PFL switch rounds off each channel.
Main outputs are available on 1/4 inch jack and XLR outputs with LED bar graph level metering. Monitor outputs are available on 1/4 jacks and an independent headphone output with it's own level control is also provided. 1/4 inch jack outputs are in place for AUX1 and AUX2 send and GROUP OUT 1 and 2 making this an extremely versatile desk in terms of routing.
