The Vox amPlug 2 Lead offers the sound of a US-made high-gain boutique amp, further modified for lead guitar in a compact unit which just plugs into your output jack.


With its carefully designed analogue circuitry, amPlug 2 'Lead' lets you enjoy full-fledged amp sound just by plugging it into your guitar. The completely analogue design simulates the circuitry of a vacuum tube amp: it expresses the differences between guitars and pickups, reacts to operation of your guitar's volume control, and even conveys the sense of air emanating from a speaker cabinet. The circuit design and parts have been carefully chosen to let you enjoy powerful, high-quality sound that you might not expect from such a compact unit.

amPlug 2 'Lead' offers a versatile mid-boost which gives you even richer lead tones.

Foldable Plug That Rotates 180 Degrees
The plug that you insert into your guitar can rotate in five steps up to 180 degrees, enabling it to be adjusted for optimal visibility. This design also allows even more compact storage in your guitar's case or gig bag.

Auto Power-Off Function
Vox have added a function that automatically turns off the power even if you leave the unit with the power on. Since this function works by detecting operations or audio signals within a certain length of time (30 minutes), it has absolutely no effect on normal use. This feature further enhances the convenience of the amPlug.
