I'm going to refrain from mentioning the festive 'C' word just yet, although it is definitely starting to feel like it with all these offers that almost every company seems to be churning out, not that we are complaining! This particular offer comes courtesy of Native Instruments and it is appropriate for anyone who purchases Maschine or Maschine Mikro before the end of the year.

Look, it's a mini Maschine and it's due to be born late September/early October 2011!
The Maschine Mikro is the perfect product if you don't have the budget to splash on the full version of Native Instruments' Maschine, but still crave the same responsive pads, the same software and the same 6 GB+ library. Additionally, the Maschine Mikro is ideal if you want the Maschine way of working, but need it in a more portable unit.

What's New in Maschine 1.6?
Now you can use any Native Instruments or third party VST or Audio Unit plug-ins directly inside Maschine! You can even create combination chains of plug-ins, e.g. load Massive into Slot 1 and Guitar Rig into Slot 2, and use the Maschine hardware controller to tweak them both! You don't even need to map parameters to the hardware knobs, as it all happens automatically and intuitively!
Plus, Maschine 1.6 also offers a number of improved workflow features such as pad-link, swing per sound, internal audio drag and drop, renaming of audio clips, duplication improvements, and 16 stereo outputs!

Me again - this time with a review we wrote for our in-store brochure on the cool new update of Maschine.
- A section for DAWs, plug-ins, controllers, etc. Basically, everything to do with making music on computers!
