|Not yet constructed but instructions appear clear and straightforward. Beyond my very basic woodworking skills but a fun, fairly easy project for my brother.|
|Great product very reasonably priced|

This kit needs 4-6 medium length clamps to glue lengthwise, but not sideways, because of routed connector slots. You need a large square measurer, to not get the leaning tower of cajon (oops!). It needs 3 at a time clamps of any size, to glue the front face batons on, and quite a few for the back panel. You need a plane, or spoke shaver, to round the corner/edges down, and the snare is not very snare-like, maybe a second half-snare would be better. Double-check countersinking the screws to not scratch other things. Then lots and lots of almost course sandpaper, and yacht varnish (no -stain doesn't look that good). This is a good kit|
|3/8 box, 1/8 front, half snare might need to be further away from front|
