So far so good but it has only been used for a week. Has unexpected but quite cool sparkly effect on sides. Really makes my white shell kit look good,

Very stylish - I particularly like the black/white contrast, as my (black and white Roland) kit sits in my lounge and the seat will also look good with my modern, white leather furniture too.
Aesthetics aside, the seat itself is a delight to sit on - a proper, supportive seat. No more perching on a little wobbly throne! The chromed frame is beautifully and strongly constructed too.
But one thing I don't like... the plastic round the edge of the seat is of a "harder" type of shiny plastic, cheap-looking and 'sparkly', a totally different plastic to the black and white of the seat. Because it's harder and less 'forgiving', I can envisage it eventually splitting at the stitches, certainly if used in a colder environment though I could be wrong. The softer leather-look plastic of the seat would have been more resilient (and looked better too - I don't like the shiny 'sparkles'!).
But irrespective, this is a VERY GOOD SEAT indeed, strong, well-made and comfortable and I am still absolutely delighted with the purchase.
A good looking bit of kit.
Well padded, sturdy and comfortable. Particularly for a learner who could be sitting on it for some considerable time.
