Power Span Dual Coil Pickups - SR fans will immediately notice the new look of the PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups. Developed by Ibanez, the exposed pole pieces of the PDC pickups produce a stronger signal, and increase the response of the higher frequencies without sacrificing low end. The result is a tone rich in harmonic detail and dynamic expression.
Ibanez 3-band EQ with 'Power Tap' s way switch - The 3-band EQ works in conjunction with a coil tap switch for maximum control over a wide variety of professional bass tones. Tap Mode (single coil) creates a punchy, dynamic sound with superior articulation. Series Mode (humbucking) delivers a full, warm tone, and Power Tap Mode provides the best of both worlds-combining the clarity of the single coil with the fat bottom end of the humbucker.
5 piece Maple & Rosewood Neck - The SR neck is famous for its slim easy-to-play profile. The 5pc Maple / Rosewood construction provides excellent strength and stability while enhancing sustain. A matte finish allows the player's palm to effortlessly slide up and down the neck for unfettered performance.
Accu-cast B120 bridge - Engineered to optimize the transmission of string vibration for a full, rich tone and enduring sustain. It is also designed to facilitate string changes and intonation adjustments, making setups effortless and easy. Extra-wide string slots accommodate heavier string gauges often required for alternate tunings.

Swapped a new Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar for one of these, cost a few quid more but massively more value and has a wider range of sounds with its active E-Q. Guitar looks fab, feels very comfortable and is light for its size. This is my second Ibanez and to me this brand always more spec for your money than a Fender. Recommended to me by a pro. Also has D'Addario strings prefitted, no need to change, sounds great out of the box. I play to 12,000 people a year as a volunteer musician, my Ibanez never lets me down.|
