Novation have just announced that they have released a brand new soundpack for their UltraNova and MiniNova synths, entitled '1992-Today, Iconic Synth Sounds'.
This FREE soundpack gives you a selection of recognisable presets from a number of classic tracks, spanning a variety of genres. Check out some examples in the video below. Can you name all the tracks?

The Novation Ultranova is a powerful analogue-modelling synthesiser that is capable of producing a huge variety of different sounds from huge basses to floaty pads, electronic percussion and loads more. The Ultranova's sound engine is based on Novation's classic Supernova II synth, but it brings it right up to date with features such as wavetable synthesis, a software editor and a built-in 2-in, 4-out USB audio interface. PillowTalk are a three-piece electronic band from San Francisco, who fuse together elements of R&B, soul, funk and underground house and techno to create their own unique style. Although still a relatively new act, PillowTalk are already gaining a reputation as putting on a great live show, and in this interview, they talk to Novation about how they incorporate an Impulse 61 controller keyboard and MiniNova and UltraNova synths into their set-up.
Novation have recently released their second FREE SuperNova soundpack for UltraNova and MiniNova synthesisers. This second Soundpack adds another 64 sounds to your instrument, which replicate the characteristics of Novation's classic SuperNova synthesiser. Each of these presets were created by sound designer Phil Macdonald, who was on the original SuperNova team.
