Novation Impulse 25Novation have a new controller keyboard on the block and it’s called ‘Impulse’! Now, my keyboard of choice for my home studio is currently a Novation 61 SL MkII, so I’m very curious to find out how this new model shapes up. Will it convince me to upgrade from a keyboard that I am already very happy with? Does it improve on the SL MkII or is it simply a different range of keyboard to complement this series? I’m going to find out!

  • RME BABYFACE REVIEW

Posted on July 8, 2011 by Joe Stachowiak

RME BabyfaceThe Babyface… I’ve often wondered exactly what these products are! How wrong I was!

Posted on June 3, 2011 by Joe Stachowiak

Yo, dudes and dudettes!!! We at Absolute Music are, like, totally ‘stoked’ to have the new E-MU LONGboards in! No, they’re not the longboards that you may have heard of before, i.e. the ones with wheels that allow you to skate around town! These LONGboards are keyboard-type instruments with ‘gnarly’ sounds! Boss!

…and for those of you that haven’t just looked at the online ‘Surfin’ Slang Dictionary’, that basically just means that they are pretty awesome!

Posted on November 19, 2010 by Joe Stachowiak

I’ve got to say that I’m quite a fan of Novation’s products, having previously reviewed the superb Ultranova, and being the owner of an SL61 controller keyboard. So I had no complaints at all when I was asked to take a look at the Nocturn! Let’s see if it lives up to the standards of some of it’s siblings shall we?
