I remember once being told about a band that got signed after sending out their demo CD in a box with a pair of designer boxer shorts and the scribbled message, ‘We are not pants!’ However, whilst it is often quirky little touches that get labels to choose to take notice of your music over the thousands of other aspiring artists out there, times have most certainly changed.
