We've got three new guitar pedals to tell you about, with Boss announcing the OD-1X Overdrive, DS-1X Distortion and ME-80 multi-effects pedal.

The OD-1X and DS-1X provide new overdrive and distortion tones, bringing the classic OD-1 and DS-1 pedals into a new era.

The ME-80 is a mobile, battery-powered multi-effects pedal that is packed with effects and amp models to allow you to create your ideal tones. Whilst its compact design makes it ideal for the travelling performer, it also features no less than 30 knobs for customising your sounds, making it quick and easy to program.

The ME-80 also features a new type of footswitch, which allows for twice the control of previous designs. You can use these pedals to switch effects, select patches and shape your sound on stage.

The ME-80 is compatible with Boss Tone Studio software, which opens the pedal up to even more tonal possibilities, allowing you to tweak and organise your sounds from the comfort of your computer. You can even connect to Boss Tone Central if you have access to the internet, which allows you to grab free gig-ready patches created by professional guitarists.
