Universal Apollo

Unlock your potential with the latest offerings from Universal Audio. Three exciting new products have been announced, completing the Thunderbolt 3 family - Apollo Twin X DuoApollo Twin X Quad and Apollo x4.

The Apollo x4 features four Unison-enabled preamps, two independent front panel headphone amps, 2 Unison DIs, 6 line in & outs and ADAT/SPDIF input & output along with QUAD Core realtime UAD plug-in processing.

Expanding upon the new Thunderbolt 3 offerings, the Apollo Twin X upgrades the existing Twin interfaces with X quality conversion, two Unison-enabled preamps, two line outs, a front-panel Unison-enabled Hi-Z instrument input and headphone out and optical ADAT/SPDIF input. The Twin X is available with either DUO or QUAD Core realtime UAD plug-in processing.

These new interfaces can be combined with up to four Thunderbolt Apollos and six total UAD-2 devices —adding I/O and DSP as your studio grows. Featuring built-in Talkback mics and dedicated monitor remote controls, both the Apollo x4 and Apollo Twin X are a worthy edition to the Universal Audio lineup.

Both the Apollo Twin X and Apollo x4 include the “Realtime Analog Classics” UAD plug-in bundle, featuring the UA 610-B Tube Preamp & EQ, Teletronix LA-2A and 1176 compressors, Marshall®Plexi Classic Guitar Amp, Ampeg®SVT-VR Classic Bass Amp, Pultec EQs, and more — so you have an entire rack of classic studio equipment available from the moment you start recording.
