The Audient iD22 mic preamp.
The combination of the iD22 and ASP880 is a very high quality solution for multitrack recording, with a total of ten Audient preamps taken from their sought after analogue mixing console, the ASP4816. I love the fact that via the DB25 sockets on the rear of the ASP880 I can integrate outboard equipment for when I want to add some colour to the input sources.
I mix and produce a lot of upcoming bands as well as writing production music for TV and film so quality and reliability are of the utmost importance to me. Since receiving the ASP880 I’ve used it on the new album for my own band - Tenek. The results are beyond my expectations, the level of detail and clarity in my recordings now is stunning!
